Education Required Level:            Bachelor’s Degree, minimum

Term:    52 weeks

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develops the district testing schedule with all assessments, K-12
  • Responsible for ordering, proper storage, distribution of all test administration, collection of all state and district test materials
  • Develops district procedures that ensure compliance with state requirements
  • Serves as the school district liaison with state and local officials regarding all testing procedures and standards
  • Provides technical assistance to school and central office administrators on test administration that includes, but is not limited to:
  • Working with each building administrator to ensure effective & efficient test measurements according to proper procedures, protocols, and requirements
  • Timely communication to school administrators and teachers on test administration
  • Resolving concerns or questions that take place during the testing window
  • Supports schools in submitting requests for rescore on state assessments
  • Provides necessary communication and information to students and parents regarding test preparation, administration, collection, and changes in testing format or procedures
  • Reviews, analyzes and interprets state and local school district data
  • Organizes and prepares results of various tests into appropriate reports to support district and school initiatives
  • Works closely with the instructional staff to analyze data and develop plans to increase student achievement and improve instructional services
  • Provides training to instructional staff and school administrators that supports the use of assessment data in the instructional program
  • Develops appropriate assessment measures, methods, and materials for assessing student performance and achievement aligned to curriculum
  • Manages aspects of various grant programs as directed by the Curriculum Director including:
  • Writing, preparing documentation, monitoring and support for grant submission of federal, state, local, and private grants
  • Monitors grant compliance and submits appropriate reports on time
  • Monitors grant budgets
  • Supports schools in compliance with grant requirements and monitors as necessary

 Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education with an understanding of the business field
  • Ability and experience to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Grant writing
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Ability to lead collaboratively with others
  • Commitment to working in an economically and racially diverse community
